University activities and exhibitions are not merely entertainment; rather, they are an integral part of education that contributes to preparing well-rounded students scientifically, skillfully, and socially.On the occasion of World Laboratory Day, college students commemorated this day on Tuesday, April 28th, by organizing a scientific exhibition where they practically applied their academic studies to real-world scenarios.During the exhibition, students performed various practical demonstrations, including:Blood Typing Tests: Conducting live blood group tests for visitors.H. Pylori Detection: Explaining the diagnostic testing for Helicobacter pylori and raising awareness about its clinical significance.Laboratory Equipment Showcase: Introducing attendees to the tools and machinery used in medical labs, explaining test types, and their vital role in medical diagnosis.The event was held in the presence of several faculty members and staff. Scientific Visit by College Students to the National Diabetes Center in the Southern Region

The first stop of the scientific visit, coordinated by Dr. Aisha Moamen (Director of Medical Services at the Wadi Al-Ajal Health Services Office and collaborating faculty member at the college), took place at the administration of the National Diabetes Center in the Southern Region. The students were warmly received with the participation of:Dr. Jamal Abdussalam Abdulhadi, Director of the Medical Workforce Development Center.Mr. Hassan Salem, Member of the Sebha Municipal Council.Dr. Saleh Al-Manouni, Dean of the Faculty of Nursing in Sebha.Dr. Hatem Sultan, Assistant Director of the Diabetes and Endocrinology Center.Ms. Faiza Jouda, Director of the Al-Qalaa Oncology Center.Following the reception ceremony, the students were given an overview of diabetes and endocrine diseases.
